March 31 - Taipei with Friends

We had an arrangement to meet John and Shu-ming Yang for lunch.  It has been more than 3 years since we saw them last time.  They chose the Yangtse River Restaurant (江南春) on 3rd floor of the same building as our Howard Johnson Hotel, so it was easy for us to get there.  They were looking just the same as 3 years ago. We had a very nice lunch along with a lot of catching up.  

In the afternoon, we did more shopping and packing for traveling to Japan on the next day.  With all the added stuff, we need to rearrange our luggages to make sure we could meet the luggage weight limits.  The ANA Airways considers the flight from Taipei to Tokyo as domestic flight with more weight restrictions.
